St. Dominic’s Catholic Women’s League is comprised of ladies who are inspired to advocate for human rights and social justice. CWL is a national sisterhood of Catholic women who promote awareness and respond to political and social issues that affect all Canadians, especially the vulnerable, the needy and the marginalized. Through our efforts, money is raised to support charities locally and provincially as well as nationally and internationally.

We hold monthly meetings on the first Thursday of each month from September to June. Meetings focus on spirituality, CWL business and socialization. The CWL mission statement reads, “The Catholic women’s league of Canada calls its members to grow in faith, and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service.”  Our talents and service are an integral part of St. Dominic’s parish.

Couples for Christ (CFC) is an International Association of the Catholic Faithful that has been granted official recognition by the Holy See. Its goal is to renew and strengthen Christian values. It is led by an International Council, which operates in the Philippines under the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines.

Although it is a Catholic organisation, the CfC remains open to having non-Catholic Christians as members. People wanting to become members will go through a seminar series called the Christian Life Program (CLP), which is divided into three modules with four sessions each. At the end of the CLP, participants are invited to dedicate themselves to the Lord as members of the Couples for Christ, after which they are grouped into cells called 'households'.

Household groups meet once a week or bi-weekly, with members taking turns hosting a meeting at their home. a few times each year, bigger gatherings called 'assemblies' are also held.

The community also consists of family ministries, social arms, and pro-life ministries.
